Update from Administrator – March 2, 2021
Dear Families,
As always, we hope this letter finds you safe and healthy.
We currently have one positive staff member and no positive residents.
Visitation
As you know, the vaccine will not provide immediate protection and we still need to see prevalence in the surrounding communities decline. We continue to follow the existing guidance from CDC, CMS, and our state’s DPH for visitation and infection control practices. As soon as they adjust their guidance, based on vaccination rates in nursing homes, we will let you know.
While we have a current outbreak, we are not having indoor visits or hairdresser services. We are however continuing to offer virtual visits as well as compassionate care visits and hospice visits. Window visits can be scheduled as well for residents on our negative units and first floor residents that have a room on the perimeter of our facility. Please reach out to Brie Allen, Director of Recreation to schedule a visit. We have tablets for residents to use to assist with these visits.
