Governor Lamont’s Office Proclaims Nursing Home Week and Celebrates MeadowBrook of Granby

GRANBY, CT – Staff and residents at MeadowBrook of Granby celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week with an honorable mention and proclamation from the Office of Governor Ned Lamont. National Skilled Nursing Care Week ran from May 12 – May 18.

Administrator Patricia Salisbury presented the proclamation on Thursday, May 17 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week and thanked the staff for their tireless efforts in providing quality care to the residents at MeadowBrook of Granby.

This honorable week pays tribute to the dedication and commitment of all healthcare workers across the skilled nursing industry and celebrates the residents who reside in the centers.

Written in the proclamation from the Office of Governor Ned Lamont, it stated, “Whereas, the employees of MeadowBrook of Granby work tirelessly to enhance and deliver compassionate care to the lives of the residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Each and every day this week serves as a reminder of the pivotal role that skilled nursing centers – and the care and support provided here – play in contributing to the health and vitality of our greater community and fostering a culture of empathy, kindness, and excellence in care.”
